Multi-vehicle crash closes lanes on I-35

AUSTIN, TX – Officials in South Austin were forced to shut down the northbound lanes on Interstate 35 early Thursday morning.

According to KXAN, the crash occurred at about 6:15 a.m. along I-35 near the Stassney Lane overpass. No injuries have been reported as a result of the collision as of Thursday evening. However, this situation is still developing and we will provide those details as they are released.

All northbound lanes on this portion of i-35 were closed for over an hour while the crash was cleared from the roadway. All lanes reopened shortly before 8:00 a.m.

Rush-hour collision closes lanes on I-35

AUSTIN, TX – Officials in South Austin were forced to shut down two lanes of Interstate 35 following a crash during Tuesday evening’s rush-hour traffic.

According to KXAN, the collision occurred on I-35 Northbound near the Stassney Lane overpass shortly before 5:00 p.m.

Details regarding how many vehicles were involved in the crash have not yet been released. Authorities are advising motorists to avoid the area as they will experience delays throughout Tuesday evening’s rush hour.

Rush-hour causes delays at busy South Austin intersection

AUSTIN, TX – Authorities in South Austin responded to a rush-hour accident that closed down at least one lane on Manchaca Road Monday evening.

The incident occurred just south of the intersection of Manchaca Rd. and West William Cannon Drive at around 5:42 p.m., according to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the collision yet. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route around this portion of Manchaca Rd. while the accident can be investigated and cleared from the roadway.
