SAN ANTONIO, TX – A probation office was set on fire after hours on Sunday morning, according to reports.
The office located on the 2900 block of NE Loop 410 was set on fire after someone broke in and started the fire.
The San Antonio Fire Department were able to extinguish the fire quickly.
The investigation is on going.

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A fire destroyed eight apartment units and has left several families homeless, KSAT reports.
The fire happened on the Northwest Side at Sapphire Apartments, located in the 8000 block of Fredericksburg Road, shortly after midnight on May 31.
The cause of the fire is still undetermined and it is unknown exactly how many people have been displaced.
The damages are still being assessed and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A father and his 15-year-old son were killed in a motorcycle accident Tuesday morning, according to reports.
Authorities confirmed that 36-year-old Reinerio Lopez and his son Franklin Lopez were riding a 2008 Honda motorcycle shortly after midnight near the 2400 block of General Hudnell Drive.
The father lost control while making a turn and hit a concrete wall, causing both riders to be thrown off the bike into a bridge pillar and guard rail.
Both victims were pronounced dead the scene.

SAN ANTONIO, TX –According to Fox San Antonio, a woman who is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol crashed into a pole on Sunday.
A woman who was in her 40’s seemed to be intoxicated when she crashed her car on the 1700 block of Roosevelt Avenue right near the VIA bus stop.
The woman was charged with a DWI and taken into custody.
No injuries have been reported.

SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to KTSA, a man was hit by a train on the South East Side late Thursday night.
The incident occurred on the intersection of Nopal and Westfall in the Denver Heights neighborhood at around 10:30 p.m.
The man, who’s in his 30’s, was asleep on the tracks and was run over by numerous cars since he was pinned underneath.
Firefighters were able to free man and was transported to University Hospital.
The man had a few of his toes missing.

SAN ANTONIO, TX – KENS5 reports that an aspiring medic was killed in a head-on collision Monday morning, one day before he was scheduled to take his final exam.
According to his mother, Asante Contreras, 20, was less than two miles from his home when his vehicle was struck on the I-35 flyover at I-410 by Joseph Woolard, a fugitive wanted for a March 2019 incident in which he allegedly fired shots at police. Woolard was driving the wrong way when he crashed into Contreras.

“I know that if [Woolard] hadn’t been out on bond, my son would’ve graduated and he’d be wearing his uniform right now,” Anja Contreras told reporters. “Instead, he’s going to be buried in it.”
Contreras’s body will be escorted by coworkers and fellow first responders to his hometown of Del Rio, and the cost of his funeral has been covered by thousands of dollars raised in donations.

SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to Kens5, a 4-year-old girl was hit by a driver while playing outside on the block of Applewhite Road near Zarzamora Street. The driver did not stop.
Authorities say that the child was run over by a speeding black truck just outside her house when she was playing on the street on Tuesday, just before 11 p.m.
The child was transported to the hospital and was in stable condition.
Authorities continue to search for the driver of the black truck.

SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to KSAT, a San Antonio woman is suspected of driving while intoxicated after she crashed her car into a fence Wednesday night.
The woman was driving down Eldridge Avenue when she crashed into a parked car and then through a fence and into a front yard.
The accident occurred in the 4200 block of Eldridge Avenue not far from SW 36th St around 10:30 p.m.
There were no injuries involved in this accident. The woman was detained by police after the incident.
