Driver critically injured after San Antonio hit-and-run

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man in his 20s was rushed to the hospital after officers found him lying on the side of the road after a hit-and-run in San Antonio Wednesday.

According to KENS, officers responded to the scene at the intersection of Marbach Road and Harness Lane. Upon their arrival, police found a vehicle split in half with the occupant laying a few yards away.

Police believe an unidentified motorist struck the victim’s vehicle causing it to spin out and crash before ejecting the man.

The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition but is expected to survive.

Driver flees after colliding with parked car in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officials with the San Antonio Police Department are looking for the driver responsible for colliding with a parked car early Tuesday morning.

According to News 4 San Antonio, the collision occurred at about 3:00 a.m. at the intersection of Ceralvo Street and South Hamilton Avenue.

Police were able to locate the vehicle involved a few blocks from the crash site. However, the driver could not be found.

An investigation into the cause of the crash as well as the identity of the driver involved is underway.

Police continue searching for suspect in San Antonio hit-and-run

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officials with the San Antonio Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect involved in a dangerous hit-and-run crash in early June.

According to SABB, 62-year-old Cynthia Valdez remains in critical condition at a San Antonio hospital after being struck by a car along Vance Jackson Road on June 6th.

Police say Valdez had just gotten off a VIA bus when she was hit by the driver in a silver car. The driver fled the scene leaving her lying in the street before being discovered by paramedics.

No further identifying information on the suspect in the silver car has been made available.

Pedestrian struck by hit-and-run vehicle

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man was hit by a pickup truck following a bar fight on Thursday, KSAT reports.

The accident happened in the 800 block of North Alamo Street, located downtown, at approximately 2 a.m.

Police say that one of the individuals leaving the bar fight hit the man with a vehicle and fled the scene.

After the person was hit, a different vehicle drove by the scene firing gunshots into the air.

The victim, a man in his 30’s, was transported to Brooke Army Medical Center.

The original cause of the bar fight is unclear.

The driver of the pickup truck may face charges regarding failure to stop and render aid to the injured victim.

Hit-and-run driver caught with narcotics

SAN ANTONIO, TX – One person has been arrested and another was hospitalized after a hit-and-run, Kens 5 reports.

Authorities arrived to the scene at the intersection of Martin and Navarro shortly after midnight on May 30.

There was two damaged cars, a damaged VIA bus, and an unconscious pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle on the ground.

A driver of a silver sedan hit a VIA bus near the intersection of Navarro and Travis and fled the scene. When attempting to speed away, the same sedan t-boned another vehicle.

When police searched the silver sedan, they found five firearms, ammo, and narcotics. The driver was arrested.

The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Driver flees scene after crashing into pole

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A driver of a pickup truck crashed into a utility pole in the front yard of a home and fled the scene on Wednesday, according to News 4 San Antonio.

The incident happened just after 1 a.m. at a home on Eisenhaur Road.

When police arrived to the scene, they found an abandoned truck that had crashed into the pole. It was obvious the driver had been speeding and lost control of the vehicle.

Police are looking for the driver.

Suspected intoxicated woman crashes into pole

SAN ANTONIO, TX –According to Fox San Antonio, a woman who is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol crashed into a pole on Sunday.

A woman who was in her 40’s seemed to be intoxicated when she crashed her car on the 1700 block of Roosevelt Avenue right near the VIA bus stop.

The woman was charged with a DWI and taken into custody.

No injuries have been reported.

4-year-old girl run over while playing on street

SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to Kens5, a 4-year-old girl was hit by a driver while playing outside on the block of Applewhite Road near Zarzamora Street. The driver did not stop.

Authorities say that the child was run over by a speeding black truck just outside her house when she was playing on the street on Tuesday, just before 11 p.m.

The child was transported to the hospital and was in stable condition.

Authorities continue to search for the driver of the black truck.
