SAN ANTONIO, TX – A pedestrian was killed while attempting to cross a street in northeast San Antonio this evening, according to a report by KSAT.
The collision occurred in the 13400 block of Nacogdoches Road, near Higgins, at about 5 p.m.
The victim, a man attempting to cross the street, was then struck by a van, and then died of injuries sustained during the accident.
The identities of the driver and the pedestrian have not yet been released.
Authorities believe intoxication may have played a role in the accident.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
