AUSTIN, TX – Emergency services in Southwest Austin have reported significant delays following a crash near the Mopac Expressway late Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page, the accident occurred near the onramp from West William Cannon to Mopac shortly before 3:00 p.m.

No injuries have been reported as an immediate result of the crash. However, police are urging motorists to avoid the area as delays and closures are likely throughout Wednesday evening’s rush-hour.

Adult killed following South Austin collision

AUSTIN, TX – Authorities in South Austin have reported one dead as the result of a collision on I-35 late Saturday night.

The accident occurred shortly before midnight within the 8300 block of I-35, north of Slaughter Lane, according to CBS Austin.

Initial reports were of one unconscious patient at the scene. Upon further assessment, paramedics pronounced the unidentified person deceased.

AUSTIN, TX – Officials have reported injuries resulting from a collision in Sunset Valley south of downtown Austin late Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Austin – Travis County traffic report page, the incident occurred at about 3:20 p.m. within the 5000 block of Brodie Lane just outside of the Spec’s wine and sports store.
