One killed, 5 injured in Travis County collision

TRAVIS COUNTY, TX – Emergency Services in Travis County are reporting one dead and five hospitalized following a serious crash near the Colorado River Wednesday night.

According to the official Austin-Travis County EMS Twitter page, the crash occurred within the 5200 block of FM 620 at about 8:20 p.m.

Officials pronounced one victim dead at the scene. Three people were transported to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center with serious, life-threatening injuries. The fifth victim was taken to Baylor Scott and White Lakeway Hospital with minor injuries.

UPDATE: One dead, two critically injured in Travis County accident

TRAVIS COUNTY, TX – Officials in Travis County have reported one fatality and two people hospitalized in serious condition following a crash Northwest of Austin Wednesday night.

The incident occurred on Farm to Market Road 1431 at about 9:20, as previously reported. According to Austin-Travis County EMS, paramedics extracted one individual who was unconscious and pinned in their vehicle.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene while two others were transported to Round Rock Medical Center with serious, life-threatening injuries.

Injury crash reported in Travis County

TRAVIS COUNTY, TX – Emergency Services Northwest of Austin reported injures as a result of a collision near Cross Creek Wednesday night.

The incident happened on the 18000 block of FM 1431 near its intersection with Travisso Parkway just before 9:15 p.m., according to the Austin- Travis County traffic report page.

Two killed, child injured in crash on US-290

TRAVIS COUNTY, TX – Austin-Travis County Emergency Services have reported that two adults were killed and one child was seriously injured after a freeway crash Friday morning.

The incident occurred at the 2900 block of US Highway 290 at Cameron Road around 5:48 a.m. According to KVUE, Two adult victims were pronounced dead upon paramedics’ arrival at the scene. A child was extricated from the vehicle and transported via airlift to Dell Seton Medical center with serious injuries.

Details regarding what caused the crash has not yet been made available. Authorities are advising drivers to avoid US 290 at Cameron Rd. while the crash can be further investigated.
