Three injured in multi-vehicle accident on I-35
AUSTIN, TX – Three people were injured Saturday night in a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 35, according to a Tweet published by the official Twitter account of the Austin-Travis County EMS.
The accident happened at about 9:55 p.m. in the 7000 block of North I-35, also known as East Anderson Lane, in the southbound direction.
According to the ATCEMS, there were possibly five cars and a semi-truck involved in the crash.
At least three people received non-serious injuries in the accident, though it is unclear at this time if they were taken to the hospital.
The circumstances of the crash have not been made available at this time.
ATCEMS advised motorists to avoid the area in question, as delays were likely due to the cleanup and investigation of the accident.
