Urgent rush-hour crash reported in East Austin
AUSTIN, TX – Emergency Services east of downtown Austin reported a collision along a highway service road during Thursday evening’s rush hour.
According to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page, the accident occurred at the intersection of Smith Road and U.S. Highway 183 shortly before 6:30 p.m.
No word on how many vehicles were involved in the crash or whether any injuries were sustained has been made available as of yet. However, we will continue to monitor this ongoing situation and provide any further information as it is made public by East Austin police.
