Victim identified in fatal San Antonio crash
SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officials in Bexar County have identified the man killed in a head-on collision south of San Antonio Saturday night.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred within the intersection of Loop 1604 and Pleasanton Road at about 9:00 p.m., according to KSAT.
35-year-old Juan Ramon Ramirez-Mencia died at the scene of the crash after one vehicle crossed the center median, striking the other head-on. Two other individuals were transported to Southwest General Hospital and are expected to survive.
Officials have not yet determined who is at fault or if speed or alcohol played a role in the fatal crash.
