Worker hospitalized after being electrocuted in Lost Creek
LOST CREEK, TX – A worker was taken to the hospital after they fell over the side of an embankment after being electrocuted in the Lost Creek area this afternoon, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The incident happened near the intersection of Weston Lane and FM 2244 Road at 1:04 p.m., after an adult victim was electrocuted with over 30,000 volts of electricity. They then fell about 100 feet down the side of an embankment.
Rescue workers used a big wheel device in their efforts to extricate the victim from the scene. The person, who was not immediately identified, was then taken to Dell Seton to receive treatment for possibly severe injuries.
The cause of the accident was not immediately released.
