SUV crashes into San Antonio apartment complex

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Law enforcement officials in San Antonio are searching for three suspects that crashed a stolen SUV into a North Side apartment Friday morning.

According to KSAT, the collision occurred at about 2:30 a.m. when the driver lost control of the vehicle while traveling at a high rate of speed. The crash caused the SUV to roll over into the grass and into a set of airconditioning units outside of the Tuscany Park apartments.

The three occupants inside of the vehicle fled the scene immediately following the crash. No injuries have been reported as of Friday afternoon.

San Antonio high-speed chase results in crash involving police cruiser

SAN ANTONIO, TX – San Antonio police have one person in custody following a pursuit that reached speeds over 100 mph and resulted in a crash Tuesday night.

According to KENS, the pursuit began at about 9:00 p.m. when a Texas DPS Trooper initiated a traffic stop along I-10 near US 290. The chase lasted nearly 45 minutes and involved officers from both the DPS and the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.

At one point during the pursuit, the suspect struck the front end of a patrol car and proceeded to evade police for several miles before hitting railroad tracks along Southwest Military Drive. They were taken into custody on charges of evading police and aggravated assault on a police officer.

The suspect’s motive for evading police remains unknown at this time.

Erratic driver killed in San Antonio collision

SAN ANTONIO, TX – San Antonio police discovered a driver had been killed after reportedly driving erratically Sunday afternoon.

According to KSAT, officials responded to witness reports of a man driving in a dangerous manner within the 1200 block of Weidner Road Northeast of downtown around 12:00 p.m.

Once officers were able to locate the vehicle, they found it had crashed into a trucking facility and the driver had been ejected. Police say the man drover through a fence and collided with a garage door within the facility.

Emergency services attempted life-saving measures on the victim. However, their efforts were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Information regarding what may have caused the crash and events leading up to it has yet to be released.

One dead following San Antonio freeway crash

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A San Antonio man was killed after being involved in a rollover collision northeast of San Antonio early Monday morning.

According to KSAT, the crash occurred along Loop 410 near the Nacogdoches Road overpass at about 2:30 a.m.

San Antonio police say the man collided with the center divider at a high rate of speed. The impact caused the vehicle to roll over a number of times, ejecting the passenger in the process.

The victim was rushed to Brooke Army Medical Center upon emergency services’ arrival on the scene. Details regarding their identity have not yet been released.

Driver detained following a rollover collision in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Police in San Antonio detained one of the drivers involved in a multi-vehicle rollover crash near downtown Wednesday night.

According to KSAT, the crash happened at the intersection of McCullough Avenue and East Cypress Street at about 10:40 p.m. Police say two vehicles ran into one other, and that a large SUV rolled over as a result of the impact.

Officials detained a woman involved in the crash, although the charges against her are unknown at this time.

The driver of the SUV was transported to the local. Their condition remains unknown as of Thursday evening.

Man and woman arrested following a pursuit and crash in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Two people have been arrested following police pursuit and collision in San Antonio early Monday morning.

The pursuit began near the intersection of Loop 1604 and Highway 151 at about 7:00 a.m., according to KSAT. Deputies with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department attempted to pull over a vehicle for reckless driving when the car sped away.

Shortly after the chase began the car wrecked into a wooded area. Both the male and female occupants attempted to escape on foot but were caught shortly after.

The 19-year-old male is facing both felony and misdemeanor charges while the female is facing solely a misdemeanor charge of evading on foot.

Driver collides with an off-duty constable in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officials in San Antonio responded to a collision involving an off-duty constable and a suspected drunk driver late Wednesday night.

According to KENS, the incident occurred along the Interstate 410 Access Road near the intersection with Texas 151 at around 11:00 p.m. The constable was near a construction site when the female driver drove through the security cones striking the constable’s vehilce.

The woman attempted to drive away but was stopped within the construction site. She was arrested shortly after when police suspected her of being under the influence.

No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

One killed and two hurt in northwest San Antonio crash

SAN ANTONIO, TX – San Antonio Police have a 26-year-old man in custody in connection with an intentional crash on the northwest side Thursday evening.

According to KTSA, the collision occurred within the 6800 blocks of Babcock Road shortly after 6:30 p.m. The man traveling westbound swerved into the oncoming eastbound lane striking a car with three female passengers.

The women’s car caught fire immediately following the crash. Luckily, they were each pulled from the vehicle by good samaritans passing by.

One of the victims was pronounced dead upon emergency services’ arrival on the scene. Two were transported to University hosptial, their conditions remain unknown at this time.

The suspect attempted to flee on foot but was tracked down and arrested by San Antonio Police shortly after.

Driver in critical condition after colliding with pole in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO – One man was taken to the hospital after emergency crews pulled him from a vehicle that crashed into a pole south of San Antonio Monday night.

According to KSAT, the crash occurred after the driver was attempting to exit Southwest Loop 410 onto Poteet Jourdanton Freeway at about 11:40 p.m. when he took the turn at a high rate of speed and lost control of the vehicle.

The car careened off of the road and across the Highway 16 intersection before coming to a stop when it crashed into a light pole. The man was pulled from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

No information is available concerning the condition of the other two occupants of the vehicle. However, police found a 9 mm pistol and marijuana upon investigating the crash.

Suspect tries to evade San Antonio police by driving away with handcuffs on

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Police in San Antonio arrested an individual that attempted to drive away after being detained for hitting a parked police cruiser.

According to KTSA, the man ran into the police car on Northwest 21st street and proceeded to hit another vehicle after that. The suspect was thrown into the back seat of his car where police handcuffed and left him to check on the other victim.

While checking on the welfare of the other victim in the crash, the suspect jumped back into the driver’s seat of his car and sped off again. This time he collided with railroad tracks not far from the original incident. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The other motorist sustained minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital.
